For him not teaching when I was a student there so I could have tasted the glory of the pretentious farts that come out of his genius mouth every time he speaks.
Anyway, it is confirmed that the former creative director of Dior will give a four day masterclass called Show Me Emotion! at the famous fashion college Parsons The New School for Design in New York City. The course will consist of three days in the design studio with Galliano, followed by a Q&A session with the designer and dean Simon Collins.
The goal of the course is to “engage its participants by provoking the power of emotion in context of fashion practice and exploration of intuitive, perceptive manners of investigational making”. Yes, Parsons can get pretentious at times.
More importantly, does John Galliano realize that The New School is basically The Jewish School? What is he going to do when he figures out that the majority of his students are Jewish?! I hope the students will have their cameras ready.
