Publisher Net-A-Porter.com has high aspirations for its print baby and scoring Gisele for your first publication sure does help. Furthermore, Porter has assured us all that they are a proper magazine and will therefore also feature brands that are not sold by Net-A-Porter.com.
It will be interesting to see how the fashion magazine world will react to the newcomer. The last thing fashion editors need is more competition. Porter obviously knows this and as to not completely piss off the queen of them all, Anna Wintour, Porter has dedicated a piece in its first issue praising the ice queen for sisterly helping Hillary Clinton with her work. Anna probably wants their heads, anyway.
