Luxurious L’Occitane Hand Creams
Whenever I want to feel like a proper “lady”, I pay a visit to my local L’Occitane boutique. The French cosmetics brand, inspired by and based in the Provence, oozes an aura of tradition, elegance and wholesome beauty. Its products are mostly made from local ingredients from the fields of the Provence and are simply lovely.
Today, I want to put a spotlight on their hand creams. While they sell many variations, every hand cream contains one main ingredient: fair trade Shea Butter from Burkina Faso. My favorite variations are:
Shea Butter
This is the base cream and the queen of hydration. It contains 20% Shea Butter, infused with honey and coconut. A very rich and nourishing cream for the very dry skin. Scent: neutral and fresh.
Cherry Blossom
More suited for normal skin. It contains cherry extracts from the Lubéron region. Sounds posh, huh? Well, it smells like it. Scent: sweet and luxurious.
Almond
Enriched with almond milk and oils, you get what you expect: a velvety cream that smells like a bath full of almond milk. Scent: sweet and classy.
Pivoine Flora (Rose)
You can never go wrong with the smell of roses. This cream has the most delicious rose smell that will make you feel like French royalty. Scent: classy.
