Some music to sooth fickle March.
March is an interesting month: it beholds the changing of seasons. Spring is coming up! Just a little bit longer… Until then you can listen to this March playlist. While it’s grey and possibly raining outside, you can just sit down on your sofa, take in the sweet smell of your warm tea, read a book and listen to these cool tracks. Or if you insist on working, then these artists are also perfect as background music.
The list is made up of small independent acts and some classic songs. Including two amazing covers, can you guess which?
ENJOY!
Artists in the playlist you should definitely watch out for:
- Jessie Ware: She isn’t new around the block, some of her songs are from last year. But her music is so enticing! Her album Devotion is the best.
- Tom Odell: In love with him! Isn’t he just so adorable? Or is it just me? *blushing*. His debut album is out now.
- Paloma Faith: She’s always cool. Her sound and style are very forward thinking! Her latest track has a soul vibe. And we are diggin’ it.
- London Grammar: Their music is ideal for this month. Very mesmerizing. This will get us through to the new spring season.
- David Lynch and Lykke Li. The director David Lynch that is. You know, from Twin Peaks. And yes, he makes music. Check the slightly creepy feeling of this song and video clip.
